Arrgghh!!
Well, as you can see, I've posted more pictures. The arrgghh!! is because I can't get them the size I want them. Anybody have any hints? Yes, normally I would be able to figure this out on my own, but my normal brain cells have either died or been replaced with what I like to call "post-pardum mommy cells". That means that my brain is now full of things relevant to motherhood (thus pushing all other information out) and I'm half-way delirious (that's the post-pardum part). However, I'm now six weeks past my delivery date, so expect the fog to lift like magic at any time. Things are going fabulous. We've made some new friends who have decided to move in with us. They are of the ant persuasion and number about one trillion. They really like to hang out around my living room rug. Why, I'm not sure, as the all-you-can-eat buffet is in the kitchen. We are also plagued by roaches. All of them unwanted houseguests, to say the least. This is the only reason I would trade Alabama's mild winters for Nebraska's insanely cold weather. The cockroach I killed last night brought to mind the night Laura, Tracy and I were attacked by not one, but five, flying killer roaches in our kitchen in the Yellow Brick House. We saw a roach on the floor, screamed and climbed on the table only to be the target of an air strike. I shiver to this day. It also reminded me of being attacked by a flying cockroach as I was laying in bed...eight months pregnant. Picture an elephant jumping hurdles. Aubrey never saw me move so fast. He was afraid I was going into labor. Blech!!

Can I just say the vision of you pregnant jumping out of bed running from the cockroach... literally laughed out loud! But due to my fear of those disgusting dinosaurs, the sympathy quickly sank in! :) Totally understand the ant thing, they LOVE our house.
by the way, I sent you an invite to a Jewelry party at my house this Thursday 9-20-2007 & it came back with a wrong address today! Do you have an email address? send me one if you do to: cstallingsbarr@pecofoods.com
For the record, the brain cells...they're gone forever.
2nd the roaches...I HATE that memory, your version as usual is more colorful then mine but the best thing that came out of that night was everyone finally letting me call Terminix. I remember no one wanting to pay the bill with me until that night. As I recall I spent most of that kitchen night crying in my room I was so traumatized. Sorry about the ant, but winters are why I'm so glad I live here...it does keep the bugs at bay so nicely.
Chey, didn't know you have a blog..I love it! Sorry about your pest problem. We called Terminex for our house and it's helped TONS. Also, the hermit lady that lived in the stye next door either died or moved because her dogs are gone, and there was a big dumpster parked in her front yard with people hauling all kinds of crap out of her house and throwing it in there. Now, maybe the pest problem will be gone for good! Woo-hoo!
Awwww!!!! Olivia is a beauty, Cheyenne! Congrats to you two! :-D
haha.. you definitely tell some interesting stories!
It seems like Tuscaloosa always has the worst problem with roaches, too! It's so gross!
