The Queen Bee

Olivia was a bumble bee for Halloween. I heard that she won cutest costume at the Trunk-or-Treat at church. Sadly, she was not there to accept the award. Queen bees need a lot of sleep to keep them looking so dadgum adorable! I made her costume out of a yellow onesie. I just sewed black ribbon on it for the stripes. Well, when it came time to put it on her and take it off, I realized that there is a reason that onesies are so stretchy. The black ribbon didn't let the onesie stretch enough to take it off, so I had to cut it. Oh, well. Lesson learned. And she was cute anyway. That's all that matters!

SO cute! I love the costume, congrats on making it (although you then had to trash it). We can't wait to see you! We leave at 9am tomorrow morning

she was adorable! Great costume & ingenuity... even if it had to meet an untimely demise. :)
