So, I'm not a huge die-hard fan of MJ, but I'm a huge die-hard fan of Tracy, who I'm sure is taking his passing very hard. Poor thing. So, may I just offer these points of consolation:
1. He can stop paying Billy Jean child support for the kid who's not his son
2. He has been reunited with his nose
3. He for real can never grow old now, just more unrecognizable as his cheek bones become even more prominant
4. He lived long enough to see his music butchered on American Idol
5. His slightly effeminate voice and other-worldly dance moves have made him an unforgettable music icon
Oh, Wacko Jacko, how will we get by without you? At least you haven't done anything noteworthy in the past 10 years. I feel like you've allowed us all to begin the grieving process early. In fact, I've already finished mine. My only regret is that you never found your other glove. But for you, dear friend, I hope my coordinating selection of music will help ease your pain, Tracy. Feel better and rock on.

You are crazy.

Good one Cheyenne. And it was good to hear PYT as the page loaded.
oh my goodness i now have to put MJ on my playlist...
I too thought of Tracy...especially today when I passed an electronic billboard in Decatur, AL (of all places) that showed on an image of MJ's glove and said "Long Live the King." I thought Elvis was the King?
Oh how I am just now barely able to muster a moment during my grieving to write on this blog. It makes me so happy to know of the support I have recieved from my many friends in Bama who have remembered me at this time of saddness. May we all dance on a table to Billie Jean or PYT or Bad, in memory.. in fact at our next reunion I think we need too. I have enjoyed all the radio tributes this past week and have danced and sang my heard out! Thank you for your tribute Cheyenne... LOVE LIVE THE REAL KING!!! :)
And my whole in-law family got a laugh at your list!
Anything for you, Tracy...
you always make me laugh.
Okay, he was weird, really especially in the last 5-10 years or so, but no one can deny what an AMAZING artist he was. He was a musical genius!! It's just sad how his reputation was tarnished by all of the controversy that surrounded him... which he brought on himself... I think he liked it. He will always be the king of pop though.
P.S. Thanks for all of the groovy MJ tunes! I love it!!
