The Final Goodbye

My Grandma passed away this morning, so I guess that makes it official. I'm grateful that she's my grandma and that I was able to know her for so long. Sometimes in big families (there are more than 300 in mine) the younger grandkids and following generations don't get to know their grandparents. Everyone but the smallest of great-great grandkids has known her. I love her and I miss her already, but I know that she's more capable of being with me now than she ever was before. How grateful I am to be a part of this amazing family. Thank you, Grandma, for my heritage.

I'm so sorry, Cheyenne. I know the Lord knows how to comfort you at this time. Love and hugs.

Are you headed to Utah for the funeral?

We love you Chey! We might have to have Grandma Rex story night in Bama this summer to pay tribute to the wonderful women she was. Hope she had a great reunion when she got to the other side.

I thought I had already said my goodbyes but just hearing that she had passed made me emotional all over again. She was an amazing person! Can't wait to see you!
